The Talen Charles Birt Memorial Scholarship offers financial assistance to Duval County students who graduate from Andrew Jackson, First Coast, Jean Ribault, or William M. Raines High Schools. When choosing the recipient of the scholarship, the review committee will take into account various factors. These factors include the student's dedication to academics and leadership, their plans to pursue a 2- or 4-year degree, their ability to express why they have chosen their area of study, and their financial need. The scholarship will only be awarded once and will cover tuition and books, up to a maximum of $2,000.
